10-day "Rooftop Solar Grid Engineer Skill Development Program" sponsored by National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) and Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, commenced on 06th March 2019 at REIL premises. This 10-day workshop will schedule from 06 March 2019 to 19 March 2019.
Program inaugurated by Shri A.K. Jain, Managing Director, Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL) by Deep Prajwalan. On this occasion senior officers of REIL actively participated in it and apprise to the participants of the program in details.
Shri A.K. Jain, Managing Director, REIL reiterated that, the REIL has been recognized by the Government of India as specialist CPSE. Under this high skill training would be provided by REIL to the participants in respect of the Installation of Rooftop Solar Systems.
Shri Jain said that, the Government of India has set a target of installation of 40 GW Rooftop Solar Systems in the country till 2022. It is essential to ensure the availability of trained manpower for successfully installation, operation and maintenance of these Rooftop Solar Systems. He said that, there is an immense potential in the field of solar energy and success can be achieved not only in the country but in other countries through innovation. He gave the example of REIL and said that, the Company has done many innovations in the solar energy sector and installed solar systems on all Gram Panchayats of Rajasthan. These systems were linked to Web-enabled Solutions. This lead to the strengthening of e-governance and information of all such systems could be made available on the web-based portal. Through innovative technology, more and more customers can be added. He further added that, the work done by REIL in the field of Solar Energy would be shared during this training session, and a state-of-art training center has also been set up by REIL on Shipra Path, Mansarovar, where people would be trained by giving training soon.
An encouraging response from around 40 participants in this program received. Shri Suneet Mathur, General Manager, RREC was a special invitee in this program. The program gave exposure about challenges in implementation of grid-connected rooftop solar projects through various interactive sessions and provided a platform to discuss successfully among the participants.
On the occasion this 10-day Program on "Rooftop Solar Grid Engineer Skill Development Program" sponsored by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India and National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), gratitude was expressed for active participation of the participants and support of MNRE and NISE.
