1. Creating EVCS infrastructure under FAME scheme
As a part of electrical mobility mission 2020, Department of Heavy Industries (DHI), Govt. of India has formulated a scheme namely (FAME-India) Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid Electrical Vehicles in India. The objective of the scheme is to promote electrical mobility through development of technology of Hybrid & Electrical Vehicles (EVs) and charging infrastructure.
Under FAME, REIL has successfully completed installation of 200 Nos. of charging stations in Jaipur-Delhi-Chandigarh as per DHI order/instructions. Based on the performance of above project, REIL has been further entrusted the responsibility by Department of Heavy Industries for creating 270 Nos. EV Charging Infrastructure in six cities namely – Shimla, Agra, Goa, Ranchi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Highways – Golden Triangle Jaipur-Delhi-Agra, Mumbai-Pune express highway.
REIL further intent to create EV charging infrastructure in approx. 76 cities in the country.
2. Project Management Consultancy
The department is working as a project management consultancy (PMC) for the EESL in Street Lighting National Programme(SLNP). Under this program the conventional street lights are being replaced by energy efficient LED street lights.
3. PUCC Networking
The department is working on prestigious project of “Networking of pollution under check centers". The complete online networking solutions includes Customized Software, Hardware, certificate generation, Server/ cloud server, SMS sending, Notice generation etc.
4. Electronic Surveillance System
The Video feed is transmitted through CCTV surveillance Camera on cloud for webcasting (Real Time Monitoring)
REIL entered into the area of Electronic surveillance system 10 years ago and successfully developed a diversified range of Electronic Surveillance solutions. REIL customize solutions provide the technology as per customer need from the simplest to the most challenging. In Electronic surveillance the major parts are as per followings:
A. Live Webcasting - REIL offer live webcasting solutions which have innovative features like Cloud Based Video Streaming & Surveillance, Interactive live video streaming and bandwidth aggregation etc. REIL has successfully executed followings projects of live webcasting:
- More than 25000 Nos. cameras were installed in the projects of “Live Webcasting of Sensitive Exam centres in Rajasthan Board Main Exams (15-16 to 18-19), REET Exams 2016, and Supplementary Exams-2016”.
- Live Webcasting of approx. 7000 Nos. sensitive polling booths in Parliament & Assembly Election 2019 and 313 Nos. sensitive polling booths in Bye-Election, 2018.
B. IP based CCTV surveillance system - REIL has successfully completed the SITC of approx. 300 Nos. IP based CCTV surveillance cameras at various organization/places like Ajmer Dargah sheriff, University of Rajasthan, Maharani College, Rajasthan College, Jaipur city surveillance, Nathdwara temple and Hingonia goshala.
C. Analog based CCTV surveillance system - REIL has successfully completed the SITC of approx. 1100 Nos. Analog based CCTV surveillance cameras at various organization/places like 61 nos. Warehouses for Rajasthan State Warehouse Corporations (RSWC), RCDF cattle feed plant, BSER office, SMS hospital, Mahila chikithsalay and Zanana Hospital etc.
5. Biometrics Time Attendance & Access Control System
The Time Attendance is taken out through GPRS based Biometric Machines. (Face Recongination basis )
The department is also working in Biometric Time Attendance (TA) & Access Control System. Biometric TA systems were installed and maintained in University of Rajasthan & Maharani College.
For University of Rajasthan :
In August 2015, REIL has received an order of 50 Nos. GPRS based Biometric Time Attendance System from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. The REIL has successfully implemented above by registering 1700 Nos. (Approx.) employees data and providing customized software solution. Due to the Biometric Time Attendance System the following things were set right by the University Administration:
- Transparency: By Reading an employee’s unique fingerprint or face shape ensures that he or she cannot clock in for another employee, preventing the common problem of employee time theft in the university.
- Less Paper Work: The customized monthly reports are generated through software in department wise manner. Hence the single person can watch all the Attendance.
- Pay Roll Management: The Employee Pay Roll System can be configured with the Employee Time Attendance system.
- Maintain Discipline: The Teachers are taking classes regularly and on time.
For Nagar Nigam Jaipur Civic Workers :
Jaipur Municipal Corporation is responsible for maintaining the city's civic infrastructure and carrying out associated administrative duties.. There are 4500 civic workers (permanent and temporary) for the maintaining sanitation system. There are ward offices where the time attendances and report of workers have been noted down in respective registers. The transparency in the above system is increase by installing 100 Nos. Biometric Time Attendance machines in all 91 Wards. The Biometric Time Attendance System is ensuring the timely transparent reporting of the Duty IN Time and Duty OFF Time.
6. Vehicle Tracking System (VTS)
REIL provides an innovative web-enabled “On-line Vehicle Tracking System” to manage vehicle fleet comprising of trucks, dumper, car, trailers, tankers, containers or any four-wheel vehicles.
The Vehicle Tracking System offered by REIL, comprises of the Vehicle mount unit, which determines its positional data by communicating with the Geographical Positioning System (GPS) satellites, and communicating the data with real time stamp – using the General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) / Global System of Mobile (GSM) Communication network to the webservers. The web servers comprise of the Communication server, Database / GIS map server and Backup Web server. The authorized user can access this web server through Internet for which a computer system and broadband connection would be the only requirement at the user site.
The vehicle mount unit is a microprocessor-controlled device, which employs the extended features of the Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the position of the vehicle in terms of Longitude and Latitude with the date and timestamp, GPRS and GSM technologies to periodically send the captured positional data to the web servers.
Wherever the GPRS / GSM network coverage is not there; the data logger of the vehicle mount unit is made capable of storing up to 200 positional transactions. Most of the cities of India are well covered in the GPRS communication by various service providers. However the vehicle mount unit can send the positional data through GSM communication also. This feature is useful while deploying vehicles in the areas where GPRS coverage is not there. However, the usages and roaming charges would be applicable as per the effective plan of the GSM service provider.
In order to cover worst-case eventualities when neither of GPRS and GSM network is available, then the unit can store up to 200 transactions, which is sent to the web server on availability of the communication network.
The positional data is forwarded to the webservers, which comprises of Communication, database server and map servers. The data is authenticated, validated, stored, interpreted and superimposed on digital maps of the location. The remotely placed Backup server backs up the data. The user can see various graphical and textual details pertaining to movement of the vehicle, over the Computer system using broadband Internet connectivity. The main features of above systems are :
- Intrinsically safe design, Built-in GSM Antenna, SMS backup for GPRS, Auto messaging mode ,Vehicle information on 24x7 basis, Position accuracy: of +/- 10 meters.
- “Black box” design – No manual intervention is required, remotely configurable, Fire retardant cable, Configurable buttons for emergency / panic buttons , IP 67 etc.
- The customized reports of Vehicle status, Speed violation, Distance traveled, Route deviation, IN and OUT etc can also generated.
7. Automatic Hand Sanitizer
Automatic hand sanitizer is a touch less machine, developed by the Department of New Project. It is filled with alcohol based sanitizer. The virus is destroyed by the spray of sanitizer. This disinfection machine is an important sanitation solution for public places such as offices, schools, colleges, monuments, hospitals, bus stands, airports, railways, factories, hotels and dairy plants. Cross-contamination can be avoided by using sanitizer machine. This sanitizer machine is best suited for laboratories. This machine works on the principle of infrared sensing and the machine is accurate, simple, economical and reliable.
8. Others
The department also provides energy efficient LED Street Lights and conducted energy audits in various Government buildings like GPO Jaipur, RSTB Jaipur etc.
