Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited achieved a record turnover of Rs. 243 Crore for the financial year 2012-13, with a contribution of Rs. 70 Crore from Dairy Electronics & Information Technology sector and Rs. 173 Crore from the Renewable Energy sector.
The Company has continued to perform exceedingly well in the SPV off-grid power plant applications, where it has commissioned 4098 SPV power packs (of 1.12 KWp capacity) at Bharat Nirman Rajeev Gandhi Seva Kendras, in Rajasthan. It has successfully completed 47 SPV power plants (50 KWp-100 KWp) in various states, including Jammu & Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Manipur & Nagaland in North East, under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission.
In the Dairy Electronics sector the Company has expanded its presence in yet another 12500 locations in villages and a few at Dairy plants. In the context of the requirements of Food Safety Standards Act recently enforced in the Country, the Company has successfully deployed high-end milk analysis solutions at a number of Dairy plants across the Country.
The performance of the Company, its efforts at Energy Conservation and development of products/applications has merited attention and the Company has been recipient of few prestigious awards, such as National Energy Conservation Award-2012; Rajasthan Energy Conservation Award-2012; Best PSU of 2012; Best ICT G2G Initiative-2012; SKOCH Digital Inclusion Award-2012; and Best Employer Award-2011.
Under the CSR initiatives, the Company organized Medical Camps at Government School & for people residing in near by community; deployed Solar Electronic Milk Tester at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas; distributed books free of cost to Government ITI; awarded scholarship to students belonging to SC, ST, OBC & Disabled category; and installed Solar Power Systems for powering computer systems at Government Schools.
On this occasion, A.K. He acknowledged the hard work, dedication and motivation of the team@REIL for achievement of the record turnover and all round growth. He expressed confidence in achieving a higher growth in the year ahead, with the continuous support of valued customers and stakeholders.
