अध्ययनरत छात्रों को उद्योग जगत की व्यवहारिक तकनीकी आवष्यकताओं से अवगत करा समग्र तकनीकी विकास के उद्देश्य से राजस्थान इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एण्ड इन्स्ट्रूमेन्ट्स लिमिटेड, (रील), जयपुर के प्रबन्ध निदेशक श्री ए.के. जैन एवं प्रोफेसर प्रेम के. कालरा, निदेशक, भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, जोधपुर ने 2 अगस्त, 2013 को एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किये।

इस समझौते के तहत मुख्यतः तकनीकी बदलाव एवं देश की आवश्यकताओं को ध्यान मे रखते हुए, दक्षताओं को विकसित करने हेतु आधारभुत ढाँचे को मजबुती प्रदान करना, संयुक्त रूप से अनुसंधान एवं विकास प्रोजेक्ट को निष्पादित करना एवं धारणा से संपादन तक सौर ऊर्जा एवं पवन ऊर्जा के क्षेत्र में प्रोजेक्टस का निष्पादन करना प्रमुख है।

इस अवसर पर श्री जैन ने बताया कि इस समझौता ज्ञापन के तहत संयुक्त रूप से तकनीकी क्षेत्र में गतिविधियों को मूर्त रूप दिया जायेगा, जो कि समाज एवं पेशेवर समुदाय के लिए हितकर होगा।

रील, एक ’’मिनी रत्न’’ सार्वजनिक उपक्रम है जो भारी उद्योग एवम् लोक उद्यम मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के अधीन है। यह उपक्रम गत 32 वर्षों से व्यवसायिक प्रबंधन एवं लाभ के पथ पर अग्रसर है एवं इलैक्ट्रॉनिकी, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी एवं अक्षय ऊर्जा के उत्कृष्ट उत्पादों से ग्रामीण भारत के सामाजिक और आर्थिक विकास में अपनी भूमिका को सार्थक कर रहा है।

श्री जैन ने यह भी बताया कि इस समझौते से उद्योग एवं शिक्षण संस्थाओं के मध्य एक सामंजस्य स्थापित होगा, जिससे उद्योगों के अनुरूप पेशेवर इंजीनियरों में कौशल का विकास होगा जो भविष्य में उद्योगों के लिए लाभकारी साबित होगा। प्रौद्योगिकी के क्षेत्र में तेजी से हो रहे बदलावों के मद्देनजर यह समझौता ज्ञापन मील का पत्थर साबित होगा एवं रील, भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान के साथ मिलकर प्रौद्योगिकी को आगे बढ़ाने के साथ ही ग्रामीण भारत के विकास के लिए निरंतर प्रयासरत रहेगी।

Shri A.K. Jain, Managing Director, REIL signed MoU with Prof. Prem K. Kalra, Director, Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur on 2nd August, 2013. MoU has been signed with the objective of creating awareness among students about the general technical requirement of Industrial World for overall technical development.

The salient feature of the MoU are, creating infrastructure for skill development in the upcoming technologies to suit the Country’s requirement, undertaking joint Research & Development projects and executing projects from concept to commissioning in the emerging areas such as SPV and Wind etc.

On this occasion Shri Jain stated that under the MOU, activities shall be taken up jointly in technical field, which is beneficial for society and professional community.

REIL, is a Mini Ratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprise, Government of India. With a track record of professional management and profitability operations over the last 32 years, REIL has made his presence felt in Rural India by providing its various products in the field of Electronics, Information Technology and Renewal Energy.

Shri Jain also stated that, with this MoU, synchronization between Industry & the Educational institutions shall be established, which facilitates skill development among Professional Engineers and that would be beneficial to the growth of the Industry. This MoU shall be a mile stone in the changing technological field. REIL shall continue its efforts to accelerate the technological growth in the development of Rural India, with IIT, Jodhpur.
