Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Ltd., Jaipur celebrated “Vigilance Awareness Week” from 27th October to 01st November, 2014. This year the theme of the Vigilance Awareness Week was “Combating Corruption : Technology as an Enabler”.
On the concluding day of the “Vigilance Awareness Week” Shri A.K. Jain, Managing Director addressed employees of the company. Shri Jain stated that all employees should work with complete responsibility honesty, transparency and accountability and should try to root out corruption completely for the development of the nation. On this occasion employees of all cadres participated with enthusiasm and presented their views and opinions.
The Vigilance Awareness Week started with a pledge by all employees to remove corruption from all walks of life and bring honesty and transparency in all activities of daily life. The senior officers of the Company read out the messages of President, Vice- President, Prime Minister and Central Vigilance Commissioner, Government of India.
Banners reading Vigilance Awareness Week were put up on the factory premises. On this occasion competition on slogan writing and on power point presentation on the subject “Combating Corruption : Technology as an Enabler” were organized. With the help of power point presentation employees highlighted the use of technology in combating corruption and transparency in execution of their work and also advised other employees to include the same in their daily activities.
