In order to streamline the grievance handling system in the company, management is pleased to introduce following "Grievance Procedure" with immediate effect.
A. Grievance Procedure
- An aggrieved employee shall first present his grievance verbally in person to the Head of Department and his grievance will be settled or will be replied by the Concern Head of Deptt. within 3 days of the presentation of the grievance.
- If the employee is not satisfied with the reply of his Head of Deptt. or if he fails to receive any reply within the stipulated period, he shall present his grievance to the Head of the Division. The Division Head will review the grievance and will either settle the same or will reply to the aggrieved employee within 5 days of the presentation of the grievance. If action cannot be taken during this period, the reason for delay will be recorded.
- If the reply of the Divisional Head is unsatisfactory, the aggrieved employee may request forwarding of his grievance to the Grievance Committee, which shall make its recommendations to the Management within 15 days period. If the recommendations cannot be made within this period, the reasons for such delays should be recorded. The Unanimous recommendations of the grievance committee shall be forwarded to MD for his final decision. In the case of a difference of opinion among the members of the grievance committee, the view of the members along with the relevant papers shall be placed before MD for final decision. In either case the final decision of the Management shall be communicated to the aggrieved employee by the Head of P&IR Division within 7 days of the receipt of the recommendation from the Management.
B. Grievance
Complains affecting one or more individual employees in respect of their wage payments, leave, transfer, promotion, seniority work assignment, working conditions and interpretation of service agreement, dismissal and discharge etc. would constitute a grievance. Where the points of disputes are of general applicability or of considerable magnitude, they will fall outside the scope of this procedure.
C. Grievance Committee
The Grievance Committee will constitute of the following:

3. Kamlesh Singh - Member Secretary & Incharge of Grievance Cell
4. S.R. Nirmal - For SC/ ST Representative
5. Vandana Meena - For Female Employee Representative
6. Departmental Nominee - Case to Case basis
4. Imran Khan - Vice President, (REIL Shramik Sangh-CITU)
D. Grievance Cell
Incharge of the Grievance Cell will maintain all the correspondence records etc. related to such grievances and will liaison with concern authorities in this record.
E.
In case of any dispute with regard to the Grievance procedure the matter will be referred to the Managing Director and his decision in this regard will be final.
