3. Business of the Company:

| Objectives are mentioned in Memorandum of Association of the Company, and it is in the business of Agro Dairy Electronics, Renewable Energy, Information Technology and New Projects.

(ii) Divisions analysis and review:

The Company is holding prominent position in the Dairy Industry through its customer focused approach by way of ensuring prompt products deliveries and after sales support. Besides achieving business targets, the focus of the division has been to satisfy its esteemed customers.

The Company continued to make efforts to bring transparency in the milk collection process through IoT and digital dairying and orders for over 2000 Nos. of Automatic Milk Collection Unit (AMCUs), over 2000 Data Processor Milk Collection Unit and its advanced version, over 4500 Milk Analyzers and also orders for regular products like EMTs have been received taking total orders of about 11000 Milk Analysis solutions from across the Country in Dairy Sector. This is empowering the farmers and making them self-reliant.

In the direction of controlling dwindling number of camels, integrated web application has been developed by REIL to smoothen the implementation of Camel Conservation Scheme launched by Hon’ble Chief Minister, Rajasthan. In Rajasthan camels are found on a large scale, whose conservation and promotion is the priority of the government. This application is a big step towards proper management of information hence preventing dwindling in numbers. Procurement of 7.81 crore litres of milk was completed through REIL’s innovative solution i.e. Cloud based online Milk Procurement service, by Ajmer Milk Union of RCDF.

The Company has successfully supplied & installed cumulative 425 kWp Roof Top Grid Connected SPV Power Plant(s) at NMDC Bacheli Complex, Chhattisgarh, 300 kWp Roof Top Grid Connected SPV Power Plant(s) at IOCL Depot in Maharashtra and cumulative 400 kWp Roof Top Grid Connected SPV Power Plant(s) at PGCIL Substations in Punjab, Haryana & Himachal Pradesh.

Apart from this, Solar Projects have been executed under various departments & schemes i.e. Smart City Mission, Roof Top Scheme in Rajasthan, IOCL, ECIL, THDC, DISCOM, PHED, CSR Projects, Forest Department, Various Plant Nurseries, and Universities etc.

While utilizing DMFT funds sanctioned for mining affected areas, first ever order received and executed for 15 nos. Grid-Connected SPV Power Plants of 8 kWp each with net-metering at various locations in Panchayat Samiti Piplantri, in Rajasamand, Rajasthan for reducing electricity bill of existing pumping system.

The Company in its role as Project Management Consultant & Annual Maintenance Consultant for EESL has successfully installed and maintaining total 320277 Nos. LED lights under Street Light National Program (SLNP) at the end of this quarter.

(iii)Production:-
|
| The Company has produced 9955 Nos. of Electronic Milk Analysers as compared to previous year 11957 Nos. and 4.73 MW of Solar Photovoltaic Modules as compared to the previous year of 12.94 MW. |

| REIL pursues continual improvement in the quality of its products, services and performance leading to customer satisfaction through commitment, innovation and team work of all employees. REIL has established & maintained Quality Management System & Environment Management System. |

(v)Research & Development:
|
| REIL is aligning its R&D framework and business strategy to provide reliable products which are not only cost-competitive but also have an edge in efficiency and performance. R&D activities follow a systemic approach of converting the market needs into technical specification, developing a new prototype, field trial of the prototype, Regulatory marketing & product development activities like documentation & final launching of the product. R&D activities also include improvement in existing products & processes. R&D activities also protect its proprietary rights of patents and non-disclosure agreements to maximize the company’s profit. Company’s R&D provides support to the various departments of the organization to improve productivity. The company’s R&D is registered with the Department of Science & Industrial Research (DSIR), Government of India. Company’s R&D mainly works in the field of agro dairy & renewable energy to provide solutions to the rural masses via process innovation. |
